So I’ve been sleeping a lot this month. I’m not sure if that’s a new thing. I did, however, get sick. Got well soon, thankfully, and interestingly, this is a rare occasion that I got productive—PEMC planning, robinson’s place shopping while waiting for mhae’s class. Hmm… not bad at all.
The month of May has a number of occassions. On Papa’s bday, which we didn’t get to spend with a trip do antipolo because of him being sick that day. We did, however—mama, papa, ate, and i—spent a rare family day at cash n carry.
On other malls, and with mhae, we finally got to bring may may and dingdong to Kidzoona, Waltermart. Mhae and I didn’t get to enter as we found it more time-efficient to do groceries with her mama. I got to kill time at Robinson’s Place Manila one Saturday while waiting for mhae in class and I got lightbulbs and discounted inexpensive deicast cars for dingdong and andoy. As for SM Makati and Glorietta, I got a new pair of Swatch Seasiders / local, less-expensive topsiders, and “white” chucks, both less 10% and in smaller sizes (paid for in part my mhae with GC’s); and mhae got “whiter” chucks in kids’ size (as a gift from me).
So with shoe shopping and tummy filling late lunches and snacks, we got to see Civil War and Apocalypse and enjoyed both very well. The couple of tampo times were cute and resolved quickly.
Choir stuff is a lot about endings and new beginnings. I said goodbye to SMC 8pm, PEMC and its new, bigger membership now sings for the 11am Mass, and 6:30am choir duties are c/o Jomic and Mhaelord’s sweet, but sometimes sleepy, duets.
Work for me had a lot of proposals that I’m not used to doing, a new cubicle with the 3 newbies complete, and a new power plant project picking pace as others are still on their pace.
As for G69 and Malate peeps, plannings.
Oh, and the Philippines had a rather toxic elections and will be having a new administration in a month. Winners, I don’t know how many are.
